The new energy on offer brings the desire for change and as a result there will be a lot of people searching for new beginnings in their lives. The last three years has held many people captive especially in their jobs, due to the world recession and stability concerns. This year will bring release and a new sense of freedom, the desire for change will be too strong for many to ignore.

The first two weeks may prompt questioning of where you are at now and may bring up a feeling of disempowerment especially around money or loss. This is natural for every New Year but this one will have more intensity than prior and deliberation is advised. To over come these feeling you need to stop, take some time to break things down then focus on the reality of now.

If you continue to focus on limitation then nervousness may set in and take over as this vibration stimulates the nervous system and expressions of the mind. You are what you think becomes the paraphrase of 2012.

The restrictions of the past are gone and the desire and excitement for freshness will be at the top of many peoples to do list. The past three years has shown that sitting tight is not always the best, especially for personal satisfaction. Try focusing on what you want and make a how to gain it list. The only limits on you are the ones you place upon yourself.

*Love and connecting to friends

This year brings an increased desire for social connection resulting in a boost in energy attraction, which fuels sexual magnetism. This year offers more promise of love; you only need to be open and willing to make room in your life for others to attract them. If you want love then go looking as linking to others through friends or acquaintances will be more attainable. Try being more flexible in your friendships and relationships as those willing to bend will enjoy others more and giving of your time will bring joy and who knows… 

*Communication and family

Communication is one of the main requirements and it is surprising how many people think they listen when in actual fact they don’t. Missed communication may result in zealous consequence to relationships personal, family and business.

Teens will also need to feel heard. The desire to be impulsive this year will be greater so keeping an eye on your medium sized loves ones will bring less worry for you and keep them settled. Children may be more sensitive to foods and medicines.

People’s emotional ooze will have more affect on others in close proximity i.e. at home, school and work places. The phrase one bad apple affects them all comes to mind and it is advisable to check in and see if you feel like this or are you picking up someone else’s stuff and reacting. If you feel weighed down by others emotional ooze, do a cleansing or take a big step back to gain clarity and release. 

School quarrels may be heightened and you will need to watch that a good perspective is kept, what may seem dire today will be given little thought tomorrow.

Nervousness and worry can become the focus and situations be blown out of proportion, people prone to mood swings or depression need to be more aware as it may be easy to get lost in the what if’s of life unnecessarily, especially at night.

*Money and business

Money can often be the last thing on your mind in a 5. Intolerant money concerns can creep up and catch you unaware, balance will be the key to avoiding these. Most money worries will be from planning failures or from lack of decisions made a few months prior. You don’t have to live it but you do need to be aware to make good decisions, know what you owe.

Shopping: This year will be much easier to be impulsive and purchase the unnecessary. What you do in the first few months with spending will have impact on you in July. Don’t over commit then suffer the stress of covering everything down the track. February will have some extreme energy where money is concerned (see updates on W2W) and sweeping anything under the carpet will result in loss around September. This month also brings a stronger government involvement so make sure you keep things current and communicate.

Europe still has recovery to do which will be slow, China seems reluctant to look at reality and Australia has some recovery to face. India is the place to watch, as we will hear more and more about their presence on the world stage. The financial world has changed and moved and now people need to embrace that they are responsible for their own money decisions. Accountability is here to stay!

Many people/companies are still blaming everyone but themselves for their financial state. 2012 will see strong fluctuations in the money markets in mid February and more growth and planning are needed for business to succeed and be profitable in 2012. Accountability in all business transaction will be stronger and using other companies’ money will be unacceptable as the credit crunch reveals its true self, once and for all. Banks will apply more stringent KPI’s but don’t be scared just be honest.

Companies will need to be clear, solvent and strong to survive now and company’s running back to the past may die.

Many new businesses will pop up and I feel excited of the prospect, especially for Christchurch. This year promises to be a great business year for those who work with the energy flow; the magnetic energy is all inspiring and available… Do it fresh and be authentic and success is assured. If you push hard at something that has no flow it will drain you and your success, you will feel tired and beaten. 

Work will flow and come in nicely (first three months) as there will be an increase in energy (a positive rush or wave). For many works will fly through the door, delivering the results is where you may become unstuck. Your mental ability to cope will be put through its paces, as clients will make you accountable to your offers. Make sure you have the support behind the scenes and clarity of systems, as a clear mind will mean a bigger bank balance. Communication of what you will deliver by when and by who will attract more and ease friction. If you fail to deliver you may loose opportunity but worse create blocks and shut things down, clients wont wait around or recommend those that deliver short. Take on less, earn more and deliver what you preach.

Keeping staff focused will be a big challenge as they will question you more and want more personally. What do you want from them? If you’re clear they will be too. Focused people keep their focus firmly and clearly on the desired goal. Empower your staff to do the same, as the universal 5 require honesty and heart. If you promise something then follow it through. Communication has never been so important but done right will gain success and create a good culture.

Routine will be harder to follow this year, as people will get bored. Make you’re your checks and balances are done and adhered to and most importantly walk the talk.

 2012 promises change and I encourage you to look listen and respond.
